Vineville Academy of the Arts Strings Program
Here at Vineville Academy of the Arts, we strive to offer a well-rounded educational experience that is academically rigorous while teaching students appreciation and understanding of the Fine Arts. The Strings Program provides students with the opportunity learn about stringed instruments and how to play them. We currently serve approximately 200 students ranging from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Students in Kindergarten start violin in a before school, Suzuki Method inspired class. First through Fifth Grade strings classes meet twice weekly during the school day. First and Second Grade learn violin. Third through Fifth Grade learn the violin, viola, or cello in a more "traditional" class. It is our hope to not only educate students about music, but to inspire them to share their untapped talents with the community.
